It has been interesting to watch the world rally around Ukraine over the past week since Russia’s invasion. Sanctions have been put in place, aid has been committed and support has been promised. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen this type of worldwide solidarity before. It has been both political and corporate. Of course nobody is offering to send troops to help defend Ukraine’s borders, solidarity only goes so far.

We’ve watched as the citizens of Ukraine have taken up arms to fend off the Russian troops. If ever there was a David vs Goliath fight this would be it, and nations worldwide are sending stones for the slingshot.

And I’ve already heard the question, “Is this the beginning of the end?”  And my answer to that question is the same as every other time the question has was asked. “Maybe.”

When asked the same question 2000 years ago, Jesus told his followers that only the Father knows the time or date of the end times.

The secret of course is the same now as it was when Jesus was asked, and that is, live as if the end might come tomorrow and live as if the end might come in a thousand years.

Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
