I’m a professional communicator. I literally get paid to talk. I’m also a published author. You might say that I am a man of many words. But there are some words that I just can’t say. It’s weird. I look at them, and my mind can’t figure out how to say them.
The other day I was reading a novel and came across the word hyperbole. I know the word and its meaning. Sometimes I use the word. But, every time I see it, my mind goes blank about how to pronounce it. And don’t tell me to just sound it out, that doesn’t work for me.

I could never live in Boston, because I can’t say the name of the state. I can’t even say Massachusetts in my head, which technically means I can’t even think it.

I’m not looking for sympathy or suggestions, I mention it for two reasons. The first, if I butcher a word in a sermon, extend me a little grace. The second thing is: don’t let the challenges in your life limit what God might want to do with you. If He can use someone who refers to Massachusetts, as, the state Boston is in, he can use you.

Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
