Don’t you hate it when things don’t go according to plan?

I recently read an article about 29-year-old Isaac Valencia and his very bad day.

It seemed that Valencia was attempting to break into the Maya Cinema in Salinas, California, when he slipped and fell down a shaft separating the cinema from the next-door Brewjee coffee shop. And there he stayed, trapped, for more than ten hours.

He was only rescued when patrons of the coffee shop heard his cries for help from inside the wall. I’m sure that Isaac thought that his day couldn’t get any worse until he discovered that the customers who heard his cries were two police officers who had stopped at Brewjee’s for their morning coffee.

It took over two and a half hours to release the hapless criminal from his predicament. Afterward, he was given medical attention and arrested on suspicion of burglary.

The Bible warns us to be sure that our sins will find us out.

It may not be in 10 hours, 10 days or 10 years, but we can be sure that we can’t escape accountability for our actions. We might think we’ve gotten away with something, but God sees what others don’t.

Have a great week, and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
