The other day, I was just getting into my car in a parking lot when a guy came out of a pizza joint with a huge slice of pizza. And it looked awesome. Have I mentioned that I love pizza? It is one of the few foods that fits perfect as lunch, supper, breakfast or a snack.

And at that moment in time, I really wanted to go in and get myself a slice of that awesome looking pizza. And I had to ask myself which I wanted more, a hot delicious piece of my favourite food, or to stay faithful to my weight loss journey? I skipped the pizza. I don’t always make the right decision, but right then I did.

Every day, each one of us has to make choices about our behaviour. Will we do what is easy or will we do what is right? It may not be a food choice for you, but it will be something.

Will you take that drink? Will you cheat on your spouse? Will you steal from your boss?

And if you’ve already made the wrong choice, then seek forgiveness, learn from your mistake and move on. And tomorrow, when you have to make a choice, make the right one.
