So, an unidentified woman in Toronto has lodged a complaint with the Police because a cosmetic surgery procedure that she had performed had gone wrong and resulted in an infection. It was only after she had to undergo corrective surgery that she made the complaint.
And you almost feel bad for the lady until you keep reading in the story and discover that the original surgery was performed in a home basement by a 19-year-old who advertised herself as “Dr Kitty.” Dr Kitty?
Now the pretend doctor, 19-year-old Jingyi Wang has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault. I wonder if they can charge the patient with stupidity?
That’s a little harsh but still, at what point does allowing a 19-year-old, named Dr Kitty to operate on you in a basement seem like a good idea? It must have been a great deal, as a matter of fact, it must have fallen under the category of a “too good to be true” deal.
The Bible tells us that there is a way that seems right but in the end, leads to death. And yet many choose it for the same reason people chose Dr Kitty as a surgeon because it provides what they want today, with little regard about tomorrow.
Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
