What a crazy world we are living in! A world that seems to be getting crazier every day.
I try to avoid political meanderings both here and when I preach because I have discovered that I’m sure to offend someone with my views and opinions.
But, in this day and age, it’s getting harder to avoid.
With the constant barrage coming across the border concerning Canada becoming the 51st state, and the ever-changing tariffs, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to not talk about the present political tension between Canada and our neighbour.
And everyone has questions. What will happen if this happens, or what will happen if that happens? How will it affect our economy or our sovereignty? Are these signs of the end times?
And now we have a whole new slate of nominees for the Anti-Christ, the Beast and the Prophet.
And so I will lean into God’s word where we read Psalm 20:7–9 Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. Give victory to our king, O Lord! Answer our cry for help.
Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
