They thought they were safe, and then they discovered they weren’t, and they are a little cranky.
When we lived in Australia, Slip, Slop, Slap was the mantra. To avoid skin cancer, and to protect yourself against the Australian sun, we were told to slip on a shirt, slop on the sunscreen and slap on your hat. And for good reason, Australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world, and some estimates say that close to seventy percent of Australians will have to deal with some kind of skin cancer.
Now, some Aussies have discovered that the Slop didn’t work. Recently, Choice Australia, a consumer advocacy group, tested twenty leading sunscreens and discovered that sixteen didn’t meet the SPF listed on the package.

They thought they were safe, and then they discovered they weren’t, and they are a little cranky.
There are people who ignore God and his teachings, thinking they will be safe in their own goodness, or the assurance of a secular society.

The Bible tells us in, “Proverbs 14:12 There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.”

Which, roughly translated, means, they thought they were safe, and then they discovered they weren’t.

Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
