I thought I knew where I was going. Apparently, I didn’t. Last Saturday, Stefan asked me to give him a ride back from the U-Haul in Bayers Lake after he returned the truck from their move. And I was pretty sure I knew where that U-Haul location was, but it was not there.

That mistake cost me my pride, a few extra minutes in traffic, and a phone call to find out where I was actually supposed to be.

However, what happens when we think we know where we want to go in our lives, only to discover that we’re heading in the wrong direction?

Yogi Berra famously said, “If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up someplace else.” And more to the point, almost three thousand years ago, King Solomon wrote in Proverbs 14:12 “There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.”

Before you go any further down what might be the wrong road, maybe it’s time to talk to the one who created you and see exactly where you are supposed to be heading. And more importantly, find out the best way to get there and then make the decision to head in that direction. Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
