Sometimes, time gets away from us and we forget things.
Have you ever forgotten to renew your licence or cancel a subscription?  We don’t even want to bring up the forgotten MVI on Angela’s car in 2005.  Seriously, I was a little busy building a church.

Recently a man in Louisiana was pulled over for having expired plates on his car. His explanation to the officer was “Sorry, officer. I’ve been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration.”

That seems plausible, things happen.  His plate expired in September. . .  of 1997.

Life happens, we get busy, and sometimes we forget to do the things we need to do.  The offender did promise to take care of his plates as soon as he got home.  I hope he remembered.

During these days of uncertainty, don’t forget to find time to spend with God, time in prayer, time in worship and time reading his word.

God’s word reminds us in “Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.”

That is great advice, especially in this time of overwhelming and often conflicting news reports.
So, today, take time.  Time to meet with God and time to hear from God.
Have a great week and remember: To see what is possible, you’ll have to attempt the impossible.
