Let me start by stating that I have never watched Games of Throne, but apparently there have been more than a few people who have followed the show over its eight-year history. A history that ended with the series finale last month.

I didn’t watch that episode either, but again apparently there were a few who did. What struck me was the response from some show’s fans.

It seems that a petition started online has garnered over 1,000,000 signatures. They want the producers to redo the entire eighth season because they didn’t like the way the series ended. Really? Pretty sure that goes back to the reality that you can’t make everybody happy.

I have seen a few series finales through the years, some I loved, like Newhart, and others not so much, like MASH. But I would never have thought the producers owed me a finale I approved of.

I marvel at the sense of entitlement that would tell authors and scriptwriters what and how they should write and create. If you think you can do better, then create your own series.

But maybe I shouldn’t be too surprised, after all, people have been trying to rewrite God’s story, the Bible, to suit their view for years.

Have a great week and remember: To see what is really possible, you will have to attempt the impossible.
